Marginal Revolution University Learn, Teach, and Share

The Mercatus Center now has an online university where they present and discuss a host of economic issues. Links to the Marginal Revolution University are HERE.

I am currently enrolled in Everyday Economics. The big ideas of economics applied to everyday topics. One interesting feature of the course is the students are asked to pose questions, then vote on which questions are of the highest interest. Those questions with the most votes get answered by the professors. The question at the top of the leaderboard: Is everyone better off if we “buy local?”

We currently have “buy local” program in Nevada County. Are we better off to buy local? Stay tuned.
