Where is Our Lefty Scooper?

If this were a conservative sign filled with bad information (lies) our Scooper, the Former Union Editor, would be all over it, posting a retort on his blogs.

Bad Measure S Sign
So the question is why this Scooper ignoring this obvious lie by the supporters of Measure S? Rather than go into a lengthy discussion on the distortion I point the reader to this discussion on Rebane’s Ruminations  Especially this comment by a Measure S Supporter, admitting the sign is a lie:

Well, if you consider that Ms. Smith and one other ASA member heard that the BOS was planning a ban directly from the mouth of Mr. Greg Diaz, as well as another high ranking county official, the ASA group had no reason the believe that this was not the plan.

Especially when you have to rent and pay for bill boards 4-5 months before they are installed.

Now the board has recently clarified this position, but that makes no difference at this point…..

So, does this lie make a difference?   I think it does, it damages the credibility of all supporters of Measure S.  Vote NO on Measure S!

I do not know of any, but given his huge fog horn on all other community issues, his silence is telling. He has been promoting debates on the issue and has posted comments of Measure S supporters, but to my knowledge has not declared his position. Maybe another reader has better information?
