Our local lefty blogger, former editor of The Union, is a big fan of libel lawsuits, if not threatening them, he is promoting them on his blog. For example this early morning post.
Libel lawsuit against blogger moves forward — bring the popcorn
Editor’s note: When I read the commentary that goes unmoderated on the local hard-right blogs (and some of the bloggers’ own commentary) I have no doubt a case like the Mann lawsuit — being closely watched nationally — will happen here. People don’t know boundaries, as I’ve written before. And you’ll want to bring the popcorn.

In my opinion [Steve McIntyre], Mann’s wild and reckless allegation that CEI and National Review had made a “deliberate attempt to hide information” does not have a shred of justification.
Here is some information on the Steyn Counter Suit
Yes, it is going to be popcorn year. It maybe wise to invest in some popcorn futures. With our local lefty blogger on the losing side, it will be even more fun. Where is that popper?
