California Drought Report #7

The WeatherBELL Saturday Summary, with Joe Bastardi,  has some encouraging words for Californian’s impacted by the drought. With a weak El Niño in the Pacific, Joe is predicting near or above normal rain fall over the next 9 months in California. His prediction comes about the 18 minute mark in this video.

However, please note that Joe predicts a return to dry conditions as the PDO turns cool again.  We need to continue our drought preparations, as the Cool PDO usually last 20 years or more. Yes, we will have El Niño spikes, but they will be few and some distance apart.
