California Drought Report #42

This is the latest from NOAA on Seasonal Precipitation:

Nevada County is near the average line.  Note that most of the moisture will be in Southern CA, with most of the water storage facilities in Northern CA. El Niño will help, but it may not be the solution to the long term drought.  Continue to save water, we will need if for the longer drought to come.

    In today’s Bee Editorial on the demise of SB 350, the Bee said there are rising sea levels. Is that true? Could you point me to facts on this?

    Continue to watch the NE Pacific blob. It’s persistence or demise will drive NorCal precipitation over the next nine months.
