Green Screen Report #7: A hallucinogenic acid trip

This VR app claims to be able to reproduce the effects of a hallucinogenic drug:

  • SoundSelf transports users into a what feels like an acid trip
  • The sound of your voice enlarges images and makes them more powerful
  • Plays ‘face-melting music with synesthetic DMT-style visualizations’
  • Program is used to ‘promote mediation through creating abstract reality

This just might fit in with our local culture of tripping out, avoiding the reality of living  on earth as it is, rather than how they would like it to be.
